Font Poem

"Once you conquer your fears, you can control your destiny" is a self-written phrase that best describes how I have changed over the recent summer. For a long time I have almost always been in a consant state of anxiety. It was like being trapped in a glass box. Yearning to try and go into the world, but always too unsure of yourself to make a move. However, several events later (including almost getting hit by a tornado) helped me control my anxiety. Shortly after, I noticed that when I was able to control my fears I started to control my life, and my fate.

I used the font Lithos Pro for "once" because it felt sudden. For all of the "yous" or "yours", I used the font Century Gothic because it felt personal. For the word "Fear" I used the font Rosewood Std to make it feel overwhelming. For "control" I used the font Stencil Std because it's the font used in prison and prisons are very controlling. Finally I used the font Handwriting - Dakota for the word "destiny" because it made it seem more divine.

I chose to make the format a standard box because you feel trapped in a box when you are controlled by your fears. The four words conquer, fears, control, and destiny are enlarged to illustrate the importance of them and how once they big enough, they can break out of the box.
